  • Deep supply chain operations improvement mindset. We expect you to identify and drive step-change improvement in performance of our complex, global supply chain using data
  • Strong strategy and stakeholder management skills. You are driving a top-level priority (Visibility) for our COO & CTO. This is a highly visible and impactful role with frequent executive interaction

What You'll Do

  • Drive the digital transformation agenda within Wayfair’s Supply Chain -Creating an E2E visibility and “control tower” capability, enabling us to more effectively plan, understand performance, and eventually enabling real-time decision-making across network to enhance speed, performance at optimal TCO
  • Own and drive an integrated strategy and enhancement on process and tech design across the various functions in Wayfair to support the build and execution of a centrally, systemically orchestrated, JIT supply chain
  • Build and manage a high performing team
  • Innovate with internal partners- develop, pilot and unlock next-gen supply chain capabilities (consolidation services, nuanced solns. for specific BUs. etc.)
  • Co-develop technology roadmap with our tech partners to enable all the above 
  • Work effectively with executive team and across stakeholders to understand priorities and drive rapid decision making and outcomes

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years in a management role. Experience in logistics/ supply chain or technology/product strategy is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated successful track record in building a technology enabled, service-focused, cost-effective supply chain networks
  • Proven track record in large scale technology deployments/ transformation efforts
  • Experience in hiring and building high-performance teams and guiding them to use technology to constantly achieve peak efficiency
  • Experience in lean/ six sigma process flow design
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Collaborative and effective style in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for service and cost improvements. A continuous improvement mindset with intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity, stress, adversity and conflict to establish focus and deliver against business goals
  • Lastly, but key prerequisite is strong communication and persuasion skill to deliver this major transformation
