Wayfair is embarking on a strategic initiative to optimize its EU Operation to deliver better experiences to our customers.

The successful candidate will be part of the European Warehouse & Distribution Team reporting directly to the Site Lead. Due to the global nature of the business, fluency in both German and English is highly desirable.                                                                                     

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for the accuracy and health of Wayfair inventory
  • Establish and execute cycle count schedule in compliance with the corporate accounting objectives
  • Take care of the inventory areas by organizing and maintaining efficient material handling and storage
  • Confirm adjustments made to the inventory and investigate inventory related concerns, such as quality control complaints customer complaints regarding products, etc.
  • Assist with  effective liaison, support and assistance between the warehouse and stock control and the rest of the organization
  • Support to all other departments within the warehouse, with stock control and inventory related issues
  • Set targets and action plan, appraise and manage individual performance
  • Coach and support all of the team members for future career development
  • Manage daily operations through Key Performance Indicators (KPI), problem solving and driving continuous improvement to achieve the KPI targets.
  • Create and maintain a culture that prioritizes safety, quality and cost through communication, action, and accountability.
  • Work cross functionally to improve processes, support inventory control issues and increase productivity.
  • Support issue resolution through root cause analysis, implementing permanent counter measures and an environment of continuous learning.
