Who We Are

 

The Onsite Marketing team is in charge of managing Wayfair’s onsite ‘marketing channel’, including the website ‘shop window’ -- homepage. Through excellent execution of onsite content and funnel data analysis, our team brings Wayfair’s brand messages to life and engages with the site visitors.

 

Our team is in charge of: 

  • Overseeing the onsite experience of our European websites, primarily the homepage, on an everyday basis and during tentpole marketing moments

  • Building and sophisticating our website homepage’s exposure strategy that best communicates Wayfair’s brand content to our site visitors 

  • Driving strong content engagement while maintaining down-funnel productivity through full funnel analysis

  • Collaborating with the Brand Messaging team to build a holistic messaging strategy that steers exposure plans 

  • Working closely with the global Storefront Products team to launch platform innovations and continuously optimize site experience 

  • Launching our website to additional countries, including scoping priority tech requirements, defining project milestones and executing content updates 

 

We are looking for a high caliber Onsite Marketing Senior Analyst to join our fast-growing team which is bringing a number of exciting storefront innovations to life onsite and launching new sites in the next several months and years. Your responsibilities will directly impact our site visitors’ onsite experience and our websites’ ability to effectively engage and convert visitors. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Be the expert resource and guide on our homepage’s content exposure strategy

  • Lead the maturing of our website content operations to enable the fast growth of our team whose scope is set to scale rapidly within the next year

  • Create and sophisticate full funnel performance tracking, analysis and reporting to fuel our onsite content exposure strategy and inform innovation strategies 

  • Collaborate closely with our storefront partners and US counterparts on highly visible web projects to evolve platform innovations and maintain excellent site experience, for example, testing new website layout and exposure algorithms on website homepage

  • Work with a wide range of teams including Brand Messaging, Creative, Storefront Products and Marketing to support the refinement and execution of the full onsite experience both during tentpole marketing moments and time-bound content pushes 

  • Play a key role in our international expansion strategy in Europe by supporting the scoping of priority tech requirements, executing against new website launches, defining key project milestones and coordinating inputs from stakeholder teams

  • Take up the managerial responsibilities of one intern, with the potential of more within the next years

  • Tackle complexities in carrying out all web executions and channel testings to establish scalable processes and minimize room for errors  

  • Keep up with industry trends and present new opportunities as appropriate

 

What You'll Need:

  • Excellent communications in business English (German a plus), able to communicate professionally and effectively in written and verbal forms

  • BA/BS degree or 2+ years of experience in the field of digital marketing, brand, business administration, consulting or analytical disciplines

  • Quantitative and analytical skills with a structured mindset 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a desire to investigate and improve processes

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across a wide range of stakeholders and geographies

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to details 

  • Experience working with modern website technology, e-commerce site experiences and agile development processes a strong plus 

  • Working knowledge of marketing fundamentals 

  • Passion for quickly mastering new technology and applying it to business needs

  • Enthusiastic, with proven ability to hit the ground running!
