We’re the Global Supplier Technology (GST) Experience Design team at Wayfair, and we’re tackling exciting problems that are reshaping how suppliers manage their business with us. We’re a diverse, multidisciplinary team of world-class designers who are hard at work transforming the supplier experience of managing their products, orders, inventory, finances, and other aspects of their business with Wayfair. Our design practice is collaborative, data-driven, and fast-paced.

The Experience Platform team sits under our Experience Horizontals pod, whose goal is to shift Partner Home—the digital experience for our suppliers—from a web portal of disparate tools to a cohesive enterprise application. Our team maintains the Partner Home pattern library that provides code and design assets that are the building blocks of digital experiences across the Wayfair supplier space.

How can we enable our suppliers to more efficiently understand the status of their products or inventory, such as when an item is offsite or out of stock? How do we simplify the display of dense information and complex workflows for our suppliers? If you're interested in answering these types of questions, you’ll love our innovative and dynamic team!

What You’ll Do

As an experienced Product Design Lead, you’ll bring a high level of systems thinking, strategy, and craftsmanship to the design details that bring the design language to life. You’re outstanding at identifying common design patterns and adept at implementing these patterns into our Partner Home pattern library, leveraging best practices and best-in-class competitive examples when appropriate.

A strong candidate will relish the opportunity to jump into a highly visible workstream that drives significant impact. You assist in critical thinking, planning and can anticipate future needs. You uphold consistency but are flexible and open to accommodate change. You are an empathetic designer who drives results, and cross-functional collaboration is second nature to you. You’ll partner with other product designers, content designers, and engineers across the supplier organization.

  • Support engagement programs and contribution efforts to nurture the growth and culture of the Partner Home Tech Transformation initiative at Wayfair.
  • Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and techniques to more rapidly deliver work.
