Email is one of the largest channels at Wayfair, driving about $2B in revenue in the last year. As the email marketing team, we’re charged with maximizing growth and customer lifetime value in the channel by sending the right content, to the right customer, at the right time.  Leveraging advanced machine learning models, deployed through our proprietary email platform and products, we partner with a multitude of cross-functional partners to deepen our relationship with our existing customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the strategy around major promotions, a major driver of revenue in the channel, developing and executing on a testing roadmap to improve the customer experience and drive conversion
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to prioritize and build new capabilities
  • Develop the look, feel, and execution around new branded campaigns, taking a broad marketing campaign vision and turning it into the right experience for email customers
  • Partner closely with creative and content teams to create curated incremental messages tell a cohesive story, and strategize where these fit within the customer journey

What you’ll need:

  • Intellectual curiosity
  • 2+ years of experience working in a quantitative and analytical role
  • Strong quantitative experience, with the ability to generate insights and solutions or build a story and strategy from large data sets
  • Experience (or interest) in working with creative assets and developing messaging strategies
  • Excellent critical thinking and verbal and written communication skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior level and cross-functional stakeholders
  • An ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action and a “get stuff done” attitude
  • A desire to win as a team - collaborative team player who wants to see themselves and others succeed and thrive
