The Global Returns & Incidents Supplier Experience team is focused on improving the Wayfair customer and supplier experience while simultaneously reducing post order cost exposure, in the form of incident & return management and prevention. We are experts in incident and return data. We execute on a number of centralized operational strategies in the areas of policies, processes, new programs, and supplier engagement. 

Global Returns & Incidents Team is part of the broader Supply Chain Operations organization. Our mission is to create fair, easy, and predictable policies for our suppliers that incentivize reductions in post order issues for customers. In doing so, we design, execute, and measure policies and experiences in the post-order space to ensure we are continuously improving. Our overall mission: Reduce post-order issues for Wayfair customers while maximizing supplier happiness. 

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for analytical, action-oriented, and collaborative individuals that can translate business problems to actionable insights and data driven solutions to influence supplier engagement and ultimately improve the customer experience. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also being adept at communicating their strategic and actionable business proposals upwards and outwards.

  • Create analytics reporting to generate actionable insights to reduce returns and incidents 
  • Stand up KPIs to track progress on initiatives and summarize overtime macro trends in business performance
  • Manage and partner across multiple stakeholder groups such as supplier account managers, storefront designers, operations experts, and finance teams
  • Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement supplier reporting in self-service tooling
  • Be an effective contributor in a team that manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through
  • Problem solve situations; requiring use of data collection and analysis

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, SQL/GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI)
  • Critical and quantitative thinking while also showcasing the acumen to selectively put qualitative insights over quantitative data
  • Team-first attitude with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
  • Passion for process optimization and transformation - Experience with complex operational, process, and performance improvement projects
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset; you must be adaptable and comfortable with change

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
