The Network Management organization drives the speed, ship cost, inventory positioning, and capacity goals for Wayfair’s North America network, encompassing CastleGate Fulfillment, Wayfair Delivery Network, and Dropship. This organization was conceived to solve the challenging, cross-functional problems that are plentiful in a complex and flexible supply chain, and coordinate across groups to ensure that strategies, metrics, and goals are aligned.

Specifically, the Inbound Management team is tasked with giving our FC network visibility on inbound inventory (e.g., what volume is coming and when) and influencing network positioning (e.g., where should it go). The team accomplishes this while balancing Wayfair’s ability to deliver customer speed (e.g., storefront badging and delivery speed to the customer) and cost outcomes for the logistics network. Much of the positioning work is enabled via our own technology, which is a critically important technology platform for Wayfair as it provides a foundation to enable speed for our customers by optimally forward positioning inventory at the lowest cost to Wayfair and our suppliers.

The Sr. Analyst / Analyst for Inbound Management drives operations and continuous improvement strategy for the Network. The role is responsible for generating the Inbound forecast, managing network capacity, and informing forward positioning & fulfillment strategy. By partnering with leaders across the Operations organization, the role will drive analytics needed to improve forecasting algorithms, prioritize product features, develop network modeling approaches, and partner with stakeholders to achieve speed and cost outcomes for the business.

  • Drive the development of test cases in support of features, general validation of our technology platform's product output
  • Serve as subject matter expert for data, analytics, and testing within the business unit on replenishment and fulfillment tools and strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline
