This is an on-site position which requires 4 days in our Boston Office. 

Wayfair’s supplier facing platform (Partner Home) enables our 20,000+ supplier-partners to manage and grow their business through Wayfair. Supplier Marketing’s mission is to drive supplier engagement & success across this platform by surfacing the right content, to the right supplier contact, through the right channel, at the right time. Our Analytics and Trigger Notifications team enable this by defining, curating, analyzing and modeling the data needed to drive efficient and effective marketing initiatives to engage and retain suppliers. They also assist the wider Supplier Marketing team by setting up the logic for automated notifications.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and curate key metrics and dimensions we need to measure and translate that into a data model 
  • Create flexible and scalable visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights from analyses to internal stakeholders
  • Model data to understand supplier segments and supplier success of marketing campaigns
  • Develop innovative analytical methodologies to answer strategic business questions related to campaign impact and supplier engagement. Surfacing results and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate effectively cross-functionally with Supplier Marketing, PMs, Eng, Analytics and Commercial teams to drive projects by developing business requirements, implementing solutions and promoting results
  • Be a sparring partner to the Supplier Marketing team and the Partner Home organization, bringing new ideas to further the strategy of Wayfair’s supplier communication
  • Support our partner teams in creating automated recommendations and notifications campaigns, including trigger logic, sequencing and outcome measurement

What You'll Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative field (math, economics, statistics, physics, engineering, etc.) and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with SQL/Big Query and Excel required, including a desire to develop the skill set. Experience with Looker Studio and familiarity with other languages such as Python are a plus.
  • Experience working with large amounts of unstructured data and transforming this into actionable insights
  • Ability to drive complex projects to completion using effective project management, communication, and influence; strong ownership of tasks/deadlines/projects
  • Structured problem-solving skills – ability to dissect and conclude root causes, vet / prioritize potential solutions (near- and long-term) and implement solutions quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Strong communication skills – ability to succinctly summarize technical concepts, including roadblocks, constraints, solutions and tailor your communication style to your audience. 
  • Proactive and organized approach - ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across both functional boundaries and geos
  • A strong work ethic, desire to work as part of a team and a curious mind-set with an excitement to drive efficiencies through technology
