International Supply Chain (ISC) is a digital freight forwarding organization within Wayfair's broader CastleGate Logistics network. We offer a full suite of shipping services (Asia consolidation, ocean freight, drayage, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, etc.) that aims to provide Wayfair suppliers with competitive and convenient logistics solutions. As part of ISC’s Trade Compliance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving optimization of customs and trade processes and standardization with global trade regulations. In this role, you will work collaboratively with teams including inbound operations, carrier procurement, billing & reconciliation, legal, and a variety of other internal and external stakeholders to support trade compliance across our international supply chain.
What You’ll Do
- Support the success of our comprehensive trade compliance program
- Drive the tactical execution of existing trade compliance projects and audits
- Analyze processes and audit results to determine key risk areas and patterns
- Deliver insight and recommendations to leadership on customs and trade compliance matters
- Drive the development and implementation of process improvements
- Assist in various trade compliance projects and regulatory inquiries
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field
- Excellent project management and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify patterns, trends, and gaps and provide insight and recommendation
- Comfort in managing multiple projects with varying deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and G-Suite applications
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with frequent and rapid priority changes.
- Experience using SQL or other database management systems
