Partner Home (PH) is Wayfair’s supplier facing ecosystem that enables our 11,000+ supplier-partners to manage and grow their business through Wayfair. We have hundreds of engineers in Boston and Berlin building applications and user journeys that contribute to this mission. Partner Home operates as one team consisting of sub-groups who sit within the operations, merchandising, finance, and engineering organizations in both the US and Berlin.
The PH Platform team, based in Berlin, is the team responsible for accelerating all teams working across Partner Home towards building a cohesive supplier experience and driving supplier outcomes by providing a set of high-leverage modular components for supplier user journeys and functionality.
As a Software Engineer II (Frontend) you will be responsible for the execution and evolution of the front end foundation of this platform.

The role:
What you will do:
- Work with the team to define the future of the supplier facing frontend platform
- Solve complex problems (remote modules, communication between these modules, UI/UX consistency etc.)
- You will be responsible for the proof-of-concept, design, sequencing, estimation, and implementation, and release of products and features within a team of high-performing engineers that will shape the future of Wayfair’s frontend supplier platform
- You will contribute to the team’s technical direction through discussions & supporting writing technical documents such as RFCs & ADRs.
- Provide high-quality code reviews and mentor new hires and other engineers to help them become more proficient using best practices and processes
What we look for in you:
- Strong demonstrable background in implementing, documenting and rolling out front end reusable components in React, ideally in a large organisation.
- An established track record with multiple hands on experiences
- Capability to collaborate across the wider organization, influence even without direct authority with an inclusive, adaptable and persuasive communication style
- Degree in Computer Science, technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
