The Global Supply Chain Training group focuses on driving a culture of learning across Wayfair’s ever-growing Supply Chain Network to enable future growth for our business and our people. 

What You Will Do:

  • Design the content strategy for process, safety, and technology related training for 5000+ supply chain associates at 50+ warehouse locations across North America and Europe.
  • Consult and build relationships with a large business stakeholder group to inform training programming across supply chain.
  • Lead a team of two instructional designers and one training coordinator to create high quality eLearnings, microlearnings, instructor-led training experiences, and other materials that meet the needs of operational employees. Provide continuous feedback and coaching, develop the team's instructional design and project management skills.  
  • Inform the content strategy for a migration to a new Learning Management System. 
  • Allocate resources to effectively and appropriately delegate design initiatives, and provide tactical support to prioritization efforts when demand exceeds the available capacity to meet business objectives. Determine the scope, requirements, and timeline for projects. 
  • Provide direct input regarding existing training development software and make recommendations for improvements based on technical expertise. 
  • Use data and analytics to understand learner behavior and drive continuous improvement to training programs. Conduct ongoing benchmarking against internal/external best practices to ensure programs are effective and competitive.
  • We are a lean team, you’ll need to develop training content, including eLearnings, when demand requires. 

What You Will Need:

  • 4+ years of experience working in a Learning and Development function and/or designing and developing learning solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Instructional Design methodologies.  
  • A strong leader with an eye towards process and training, but also an ability to ideate and innovate.
  • Comfort in managing ambiguity in a fast-paced changing environment; ability to work proactively with various levels.
  • Knowledge of eLearning development software, including Articulate. 
  • Flexible and able to leverage data to make rapid decisions.
  • Proven track record of strong program or project management.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience developing training for operational employees.
  • Experience with agile scrum methodology/Jira software.
  • Training design and adult learning (e.g., ADDIE Model, SAM, Design Thinking, Kirkpatrick Model, Bloom’s Taxonomy) knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with graphic design, video, micro-learning, responsive design, gamification, simulations, animation/motion graphics preferred.
  • Analytics experience (basic Excel reporting and analysis).
  • Organizational development/Change management experience.
