Wayfair is seeking an analytical, entrepreneurial individual to drive growth and affinity of our brands through TV advertising.  In this role, you will work directly with TV network partners to negotiate and plan best-in-class TV campaigns. The ideal candidate is strong in quantitative and qualitative analyses, highly collaborative, and seeking a high-growth opportunity where they can have an immediate impact on the business. Prior media buying experience is a plus.

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Manage the strategy, execution, and performance of a portfolio of TV networks to achieve brand growth and ROI objectives
  • Work directly with TV network partners to negotiate rates and plan the best placements for Wayfair’s TV ads
  • Own the testing agenda for assigned network portfolio to assess the impact of various distribution tactics and creative strategies on performance 
  • Analyze performance trends and pinpoint opportunities for improvement and growth 
  • Manage day-to-day execution of TV planning and buying process for network portfolio (e.g. invoicing, creative traffic instructions, pre/post log data entry, reporting)
  • Maintain high level knowledge of assigned media markets and serving as “market expert” within the agency
  • Partner cross-functionally with Ad Tech, and Data Solutions teams to accomplish TV channel tech and infrastructure priorities

 

What You'll Need

 

  • Dynamic “self-starter” with an ownership mindset over assigned network portfolio
  • Strong analytical skills to understand what media strategies are winning and why
  • Comfort solving ambiguous problems and exploring hypotheses to drive toward optimal solutions
  • Persuasive and articulate with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills; able to communicate complex ideas effectively to both internal and external partners
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced, and growing organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (strong preference for quantitative backgrounds)
  • 1-3 years of experience in ad marketing, media, technology, management consulting, finance, and/or corporate strategy with a heavy analytical emphasis. TV industry or previous media buying experience is a plus.
