Your internship (duration 6 months) will be in one of the key functions across the business dependent on a combination of your interests, skills and experience. Functional areas of interest and potential team placements include:

Supplier Acquisition and Onboarding:

Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding at Wayfair is responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and on-boarding new suppliers. This is your opportunity to join our fast-paced and talented team on our mission to conquer the European market by adding the most promising industry suppliers from countries all over the continent. We are at the forefront when it comes to expanding Wayfair’s selection and we constantly seek new business opportunities within our chosen product categories and markets.

The role provides a mix of sales and strategic market and business analysis. We achieve our goals through meticulous project management and process and execution oriented focus. 

What You'll Do

  • Cultivating and strengthening relationships with internal and external partners and vendors
  • Work within a dynamic, motivated and driven team based in Berlin – own your categories within the on-boarding environment and contribute to the company's targets
  • Testing new innovative ideas, analyzing trends, researching categories and vendors to build out selection
  • Identifying new, profitable opportunities for targeting and segmentation
  • Using creative strategy and data to communicate efficiently
  • Developing strategies for priority initiatives and lead implementations
  • Work alongside cross-functional stakeholders to identify blockers, and together with your peers develop solutions and execute on them
  • Use data to analyse and interpret your categories' and suppliers' landscape

What You'll Need

  • Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills as well as a desire to improve processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Excel 
  • Enthusiasm, with proven ability to quickly get up to speed
