Supply Chain / Warehouse Senior Analyst

As Incidents Prevention team, our mission is to deliver an incidence free shopping experience for our customer so they can enjoy the home they need. With a wide variety of furniture and home décor products, we drive a series of strategic supply chain initiatives that enables us to improve product quality either at source or directly in our supply chain. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deep Dive and Advanced Analytics – Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity in the warehouse/supply chain to prevent incidents from occurring and ensuring a great experience for the customer
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on a global scale with Partner Operations Teams, Customer Service, Data Analysts, Warehouse and Subject Matter experts to deliver and optimize analyses for faster, more automated, and better decision making according to EU business goals.
  • Comprehend, extract, and massage information from complex data sources including sales, operations, logistics, product, and customer databases to deliver business insights and recommendations.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the topic of preventing damages, defects, delivery issues to ensure accurate and proper interpretation of core business metrics and system settings.
  • Metrics and Reports - Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools. Automate data templates and reports



What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in an analytics, business intelligence, or project management role
  • Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field with strong academic record
  • Numeracy & strong analytical ability
  • Proficient knowledge of Google BigQuery (preferred) or SQL. Other structured programming languages (Python, R) a plus.
  • Hands-on experience conducting quantitative analyses on large data sets; experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) and Google Data Studio or other data visualization tools
  • Passion for converting data to insights, building frameworks for decision making, high attention to details and data fidelity
  • Strong written and verbal communication; Ability to communicate thoughts clearly to various stakeholders across different teams and different levels of seniority.
  • Solution-oriented & curious mindset and the desire to not only generate great insights, but also see things through to drive impact
  • Strong commercial awareness, business acumen, problem solving skills
  • A desire to work in and improve upon a fast-paced technology-driven business environment
  • Experience with experimental test design (e.g., A/B testing; Multivariate and Multi-Armed Bandit) and statistical analysis to drive business decision making.
  • Ecommerce or supply chain analytics experience a strong plus
