Welocalize is seeking candidates with a native-level of English to perform music lyrics transcription and Quality Assurance/review of the content. The perfect candidate can be located in Ireland or the UK. Our Fortune 100 tech client is looking for candidates with strong music, lyrics, metadata, data analyst, translation backgrounds.

Position: English Music Specialist
Location: Remote, UK/ or Ireland based
Workweek: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm w/ 30mins unpaid lunch break. Short day on Fridays, 7 working hours until 4:30pm.
Competitive Salary: €35,000/year for Ireland and £31,850/year for the UK
Permanent Contract with benefits
Start Date: ASAP

As a Music Specialist you will be responsible of analysing Music Content in English. Excellent linguistic skills and music knowledge is required. You will need passion for technology and a will to question the current workflows with the mindset to improve tools and processes.

Qualifications

  • Native proficiency in English is a must.
  • Candidates having any linguistic background / previous experience transcribing lyrics in English will be a plus.
  • Passionate about music and media and well-versed in pop culture and music history
  • Knowledgeable in artist discography
  • Highly detail-oriented and feel comfortable multitasking and working in a dynamic environment while maintaining the quality and quantity of their work.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Ambitious individuals who work well both independently and with a team.
  • Focused, upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Thorough knowledge of macOS is preferred
  • Must be currently located in Ireland or UK.
    • Ireland-based employees:
