MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB 
 
We are looking to add several Greek into Spanish medical freelancer translators to join our pool of trusted medical translator collaborators for our Welocalize Life Science business unit.

The tasks involved for this projects will be Machine Translation Post-edit and proofreading.
 
The client which we are recruiting for is a global pharmaceutical company, and the specific materials involved will be Regulatory and Market Access materials.

Volumes will vary around 2000-5000+ words/week, being an on-going project (no visible ending date).

The CAT tools used for the project: SDL Trados OR MemoQ. Linguists engaged will need to have their own CAT tool credentials.
 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Minimum years experience translating and/or post-editing and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.   
  • Proficient in Life Sciences/Medical/Pharma content types. Previous experience in Medical Regulatory materials is needed.
  • Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools.
  • Native fluency in target language.  
  • Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
  • Able to follow instructions, eg. character restrictions, etc.
