Your role within the team
Reporting into the Vice President of Marketing, the Growth Marketing Director is responsible for the content strategy that fuels direct demand generation, customer acquisition, and ultimately business growth through the development and execution of data-driven, multi-channel content strategy.
The Growth Marketing Director will lead our content team, creating captivating content, enhancing conversion rates, and fostering engagement with pet parents. Collaborating with eCommerce, you'll optimize creative performance and uphold brand guidelines. Managing social media, earned media, and PR, you'll enhance brand trust and industry relevance. Using data, you'll shape messaging and channel strategies, fuelling business growth. Your insights will optimize customer journeys, and you'll partner across teams for ROI-focused marketing. Your growth hacking mindset, deep analytics understanding, and creative prowess will be pivotal.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead the content team strategy to create compelling and results-driven brand tory telling, driving innovative content development to captivate and engage target audiences effectively, mentoring and inspiring a high performing content team
- Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and achieving strategic marketing objectives.
- Increase brand trust and relevance with industry, KOLs, relevant editors and pet parents through the effective use of earned media and PR
- Drive business growth for H&H PNC brands (including Zesty Paws and Solid Gold) through a robust performance content strategy
- Partner with the sales teams and Finance to support the forecast of business growth, and set the strategic approach to drive the highest ROI marketing investments on and offline
- Manage and refine acquisition and multi-touch attribution model
- Develop and partner with the eComm and Retail sales teams to deploy customer acquisition and retention strategies across multiple touchpoints, leveraging data-driven insights that lead to optimization.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related discipline
- 6-8 years of experience in customer acquisition and retention, a strong business intuition with problem solving mindset
- Growth hacking mindset: must be highly quantitative, analytical, and a technical self-starter, including the ability to process large data sets
- Deep understanding of A/B and incrementality tests
- Proven track record of successful management of organic social media communities and PR
- Experience on graphic and digital creative design, including copywriting
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
