The Fleet Support Specialist for BaseOps plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and health of the Zoox vehicle fleet. This position focuses on reviewing incoming BO work requests, scheduling of vehicle repairs/reworks/maintenance/testing, reviewing and setting the priority of work, fleet health monitoring, documentation, and dashboard updates. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline hardware and software handoffs from development to operations, supporting fleet program managers in meeting high-level targets and ensuring smooth fleet operations. The fleet support specialist ensures that parts, tools, and documentation are present prior to the start of repairs. Travel to various Zoox locations may be required. The role also includes working in the repair shop alongside technicians, engineers, and other team members to maintain constant situational awareness of fleet status.

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling and positioning within a level are determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting represents the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
