In this role, you will:

We are seeking a passionate Product Manager with a desire to develop innovative products, and an innate interest in financial technology to join our Cards & Digital Wallets Group. The Cards & Digital Wallets Group is split between Barcelona and Berlin offices, which are the main product & tech hubs for N26 globally. 

As a Product Manager in the Cards & Digital Wallets Group, you will be responsible for the card’s transactions lifecycle, aiming to maintain and scale up a secure, reliable and frictionless payment experience for N26 users globally.

  • Be responsible for the cards transaction processing flow for digital and physical card payments
  • Partner with stakeholders across N26 to define your team goals and drive it to achieve success.
  • Receive support from different areas in the company in order to identify pain points and opportunities, brainstorm solutions and impact customers’ lives.
  • Work with other product managers, designers and engineers across the organisation to improve the day to day payment experience for N26 Cards.
  • Collaborate with external partners aiming to improve our cards performance and be updated with the latest market trends. 
  • Build a holistic view of the challenges and opportunities, and then develop technical solutions that empower our customers to make card payments frictionless and secure. 
  • Ensure product rollouts are delivered successfully by working cross-functionally with local market teams, marketing, operations, compliance, and engineering.
  • Give a great purpose to your SQL skills to measure impact and track results.

What you need to be successful:

  • 3+ years experience in Product Management ideally gained in a FinTech, banking environment, payment processor (or similar)
  • Experience with Cards networks (VISA, AMEX, Mastercard), or Cards’ processors.
  • STEM, business, economics undergraduate. MBA, MS or equivalent would be a plus.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills (you are familiar with SQL)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of agile product development and delivery.
  • Excellent technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with new technologies, API’s, programming languages, and databases.
  • Previous experience dealing with high engaged third party providers.
