We are looking for a skilled PHP and Python Software Engineer with 2.5 to 6 years of experience to develop and maintain high-quality backend services and applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PHP, Python, HTML, MySQL, and a good understanding of frontend technologies such as ReactJs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and applications using PHP and Python.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Implement and maintain MySQL databases to support backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in backend development.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in backend development with PHP and Python.
• Proficiency in HTML and familiarity with frontend technologies such as ReactJs.
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design and development.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with modern development frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of security best practices.
