We’re hiring a Technical Sourcer to help bring exceptional talent to Pinterest. From day one, recruiting has been a strategic, partnership‑driven function here. You’ll collaborate with hiring leaders to build and scale high‑impact teams, using tools, data, and creativity to design targeted sourcing strategies and cultivate strong networks of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate has a track record of sourcing for tough to fill roles, and partnering with business stakeholders to hire top talent. You’ll represent Pinterest’s values and innovative culture with every outreach and interaction.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
  • Work with coordinators and recruiters to manage an efficient model of operation
  • Develop strategies to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
  • Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques 
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
  • Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas
  • Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open source communities with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with top talent in the industry
  • Innovate and drive diversity sourcing strategies 
  • Utilizes data for reporting and influencing hiring decisions, while maintaining data integrity

 

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of sourcing experience gained with a search firm or in-house recruiting team
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, or equivalent experience
  • Experience sourcing talent for the LATAM market
  • Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with hiring managers
  • Experience developing and executing candidate generation and research techniques
  • Experience screening resumes to match qualifications
  • Experience approaching passive candidates
  • Specialized knowledge of core recruiting technologies, and major applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships with candidates
  • Ability to rigorously prioritize and multitask as well as excitement to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all parts of the recruiting process

In-Office Requirement Statement: 

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter, and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
