Position Summary
FSP is looking for a Finance associate to join its Labs Finance Team. The Flagship Labs Finance team provides finance, operations, legal, IT and human resource support to innovative new ventures launched by Flagship Pioneering. We are looking for a person to join our team to assist in the area of Accounts Payable supporting several of our portfolio companies.
You Will...
- Enter invoices with proper coding and allocations to Flagship companies based on a variety of inputs from managers, budgets, contracts, and communication with the accounting and FP&A teams.
- Organize and maintain contract records and payables documentation in Sharepoint and NetSuite.
- Follow up for invoice approvals for PO and non-PO based invoices.
- Assist in Organizing check runs for payment approval.
- Field internal and external requests to research payables and payments to vendors.
- Maintain vendor files to ensure proper documentation.
- Review the A/P aging weekly ensuring all issues are resolved expediently.
- Process 1099’s, use tax and other payables related annual filings.
- Assist with special projects.
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

- Experience with purchasing applications
- Experience with account reconciliations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3+ years of finance operations experience, accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with purchasing requisition applications
Exceptional Candidates Will Have...
- High proficiency in NetSuite
- Experience with cash management
- Experience with Bill.com or other payment applications
- Experience with Prendio
