At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.

The Revenue Operations team is responsible for accelerating Lyft’s rideshare growth and hitting the company’s financial and market share goals. We are looking for a Market Portfolio Management Analyst to help the team think through market segmentation, portfolio-level performance trends and holistic approaches to drive short and long-term growth objectives.

To be successful, you will need a deep background in analytics - from writing complex SQL queries to complete ownership of solving problems (from insight to implementation). However, you will be much more than a SQL junky. You will also need to be a strategic thinker capable of weighing challenging trade-offs (supply vs. demand, long-term vs. short-term, low-risk vs. high risk), recommending new initiatives, and working cross-functionally with business partners to execute on your recommendations.

At Lyft, we believe that transportation should be so convenient, it’s magical; we believe that transportation has the potential to connect communities and change lives. If that’s a vision you want to turn into reality, then we want to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analytical deep dives and independently develop hypotheses and solutions around Lyft rider & driver behavior and competitive & marketplace dynamics
  • Build science-based decision-making frameworks to inform portfolio-level growth strategy and manage capital allocation trade-offs
  • Work closely with product leads to build the most efficient tools, systems, and processes to manage growth strategy at scale
  • Build and deploy re-usable decision making tools and dashboards to streamline processes and give visibility to issues
  • Develop clear communication processes for stakeholders in the field, and remote offices

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an analytics role or equivalent; management consulting, investment banking, startup
  • Strong attention to detail, experience developing processes to remove human error
  • Expert experience with SQL, data visualization and BI tools (e.g. Tableau); you can deep dive into large amounts of data, draw meaningful insights, dissect business issues and draw actionable conclusions
  • Experience building models in Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including experience developing data driven presentations
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter - you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and do whatever it takes to drive results

Benefits:

  • Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options
  • Mental health benefits
  • In addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have unlimited paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off
  • 401(k) plan to help save for your future
  • 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Lyft Pink - Lyft team members get an exclusive opportunity to test new benefits of our Ridership Program
