As the Associate Project Manager for Compliance Remediation, you will manage a variety of projects from start to finish by developing remediation plans for complicated, cross-functional issues that relate to compliance risks. The role requires an understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and the audit function, and an ability to use that knowledge to develop and monitor project plans. In this role, you will report to the Compliance Audit Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Compliance Audit Manager and others on the Compliance team to design detailed remediation plans
  • Own remediation progress; communicate status and results to stakeholders across a variety of organizations
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Advise on project management best practices to ensure cross-functional visibility, appropriate resourcing, and effective deployment of resources
  • Work with process and control owners to help them understand the audit results, identify remediation options and prioritize their closure
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations and other cross-functional teams to develop solutions for audit findings
  • Recommend improvements to processes and controls and help stakeholders develop a plan to address risks identified in internal and external audits
  • Build relationships across departments and devise practical and insightful recommendations as process owners remediate findings and implement new systems and processes for compliance needs

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience managing large, high-visibility projects, including the use of project management tools and methodologies
  • PMP training and certification is preferred
  • Experience in project management related to regulatory compliance and/or auditing
  • Demonstrated history of collaboration and experience developing relationships across large, cross-functional teams
