We are looking for a creative, mission driven, video generalist with experience working in multiple modes and media who is deeply passionate about impacting adult learning at scale. You will have the opportunity to help our teams grow by developing multimedia educational content that helps our employees become successful operators in a processed centered environment in their journey with Lyft - and beyond.

The Education Content Producer will be responsible for developing the visual aesthetic that serves the learning needs of drivers throughout their lifecycle with Lyft. Our community is diverse and this designer must be comfortable building media that supports a wide variety of learning styles, language preferences and regional needs. This role will own the creation of visual content in multiple modalities - from 2D animations to motion graphic design and execution to accompany how we flow physical work. The role requires an individual that can innovate, move quickly, has a creative mindset to reimagine the way that traditional visual design can be united through simplification.

Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit educational video content to support the needs of the Operational Excellence team
  • Own the full development lifecycle of illustration and animation (motion graphics) design for video and text-based education
  • Advise on media-based learning solutions to ensure our employees receive educational materials where and when they need them 
  • Collaborate with Learning Experience Designers and Subject Matter Experts to develop both an empathetic and data-driven deep understanding of our educational needs, and their barriers to success
  • Serve as the team SME for educational media design - championing new learning approaches, technology, and modalities to ensure we provide a best-in-class educational experience for our teams
  • Experience simplifying and translating material content for an audience that may not be technical. Help craft the visual story to meet our learners needs
  • Comfortable adapting to priority projects in the moment, along with strategic long term initiatives

 Experience:

  • Proven experience in multimedia design (illustration, animation, and video) and developing high-impact adult learning content including user interface walkthroughs, motion graphics templates, user interviews, narrative animation
  • Expertise in video production - both shooting and editing - specifically with a documentary/educational lens
  • Demonstrated history of collaboration with Learning Designers and Subject Matter Experts and influencing cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority
  • An eye for visual innovation, story telling and a passion for creating great user experiences
  • Able to work on multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Compassionate, customer-centric mindset
