The Lyft Creative team is looking for an experienced Lead Designer with a background in performance based ad campaign design. You’re a proactive problem-solver and a natural collaborator. You’re comfortable developing and iterating on a wide range of ideas considering multiple audiences and multiple channels. Ideally, you geek out equally on design and data, and you're eager to optimize towards higher performance. You have a fine-tuned aesthetic, insights on current trends, and experience with video, illustration and digital design. You want to push the limits and go beyond the expected — which means we’re on the same page.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design a wide range of concepts for paid ads across social, search, display, job boards and more
  • Create multiple design prototypes for testing and maximize performance
  • Manage and oversee work produced by other designers
  • Create assets for all digital mediums from comps to campaigns, motion storyboards, prototypes and AB tests
  • Work with designers, copywriters, animators project managers, developers, and others across Lyft to execute first-class work
  • Solve end-to-end visual problems with an eye on brand and performance

Experience:

  • 7+ years experience designing for performance based ads/campaigns with digital agency, mobile first company, or in-house agency
  • Strong portfolio showing a range of work across different mediums
  • Experience designing for mobile, responsive design, and animation
  • Understanding of growth channels, targeting and iterative creative testing
  • Solid understanding of performance design, as well as composition, color, imagery, and photography
  • Expert level Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Proficiency in Sketch
  • Understanding of current cultural trends in design, music, fashion and tech  
  • You should be a Lyft user/believer :)
