Lyft is looking for a Marketplace Operations Manager to build and grow Lyft’s newest last mile delivery business. You’ll be a pioneer with the support of Lyft’s resources and scale. This role will be a blend of analytics, strategy, and operations. The mission is to ensure 100% fulfillment of deliveries by optimizing supply deployment and streamlining on-the-ground operations at our partner locations. 

You will work closely with many of Lyft’s cross-functional subject matter experts in product, business development, operations, and more. The bar is already extremely high, but we raise it an extra notch to find someone who shares Lyft’s vision of improving people's lives with the world's best transportation. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and scale operational and marketplace strategy for Lyft Delivery
  • Liaise with Rideshare and product teams to ensure delivery fulfillment through supply planning, driver engagement, and managing marketplace balance
  • Work with local teams to scale last mile pickup operations at partner sites across Lyft markets
  • Collaborate with Lyft’s partner management team as well as  third party organizations to ensure compliance to required service levels
  • Drive key operational and program milestones to hit short and long term business performance and hit OKRs
  • Partner with broader product, technical, operations, business development, marketing, customer experience teams to foster innovation and drive execution

Experience:

  • 8+ years in high growth, entrepreneurial environment with expertise in analytics and operations
  • 2+ years in marketplace businesses preferred
  • Proficient in SQL and quantitative analysis, you can deep dive into large amounts of data, draw meaningful insights and actionable conclusions
  • Makes ideas happen from conceptualization to on-the-ground execution
  • Exceptional communication (listening, written, and oral) skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations targeted to the audience in question
  • A drive to understand the core issues along with the determination to uncover the solution
  • Highly collaborative with the proven ability to manage large scale projects and influence cross-functionally
  • Comfort with ambiguity
