We’re looking for a People Project Manager to lead some of the most strategic, high-impact work across the company. In this role, you’ll partner with senior leaders and the People Leadership Team to bring clarity, momentum, and execution to the projects that matter most.

As the People Project Manager, you will be responsible for working across the People function to champion our People priorities and Corporate initiatives. You will manage projects end-to-end, effectively navigating complex dynamics in a fast-moving, often ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex, cross-functional projects that support People team objectives as defined by the People Leadership Team, CPO and/or Executive Leadership Team.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery from discovery/design to implementation/change management. 
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of performance across a portfolio of projects, track/ensure appropriate velocity and impact, make recommendations to systematically improve outcomes. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Research and build business cases for new strategic initiatives in partnership with subject matter experts on behalf of the People Leadership Team. 
  • Support strategic alignment and planning across the broader People team during annual goal setting, OKRs and Quarterly business reviews.

Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR and Project Management experience - experience in consulting and/or change management preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education.
  • Experience building and improving employee programs, policies and practices using a data driven approach.
  • Ability to drive alignment and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence leadership audiences to gather buy-in.
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize and drive multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong problem-solver with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Extremely attentive to detail, with superb oral and written communication skills
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.

Lyft highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is $172,000-$215,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
