We are looking for entrepreneurial and passionate Product Managers to innovate and execute across a rapidly growing, fast-paced company and industry from our San Francisco headquarters.

Learning how Lyft can change transportation requires us to learn a lot--and quickly. This role is a critical piece of how our senior business leaders can drive smart decisions, at scale, with real data. In this role, you will work on high impact projects that improve the speed, accuracy, and quality of thousands of experiments per year. Because your stakeholders span almost every team at Lyft, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on a diverse range of measurement challenges in our complex marketplace. Finally, you’ll collaborate with a strong Engineering and Research Science team to develop the new experimentation tools and techniques we’ll use to measure Lyft’s next exciting launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner tightly with engineering to set your team's goals, success metrics and roadmap to align with Lyft's mission and our immediate business goals.
  • Own your team's products, existing or new, from ideation through development, launch, growth and maintenance.
  • Lead and align cross functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners and operations to drive a shared vision. 
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels.
  • Lead the current and future direction for the Experimentation Platform.
  • Execute on new Experimentation products and features, in collaboration with Software Engineering, Research Science, and Design.
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop novel techniques for solving practical measurement problems in a two-sided marketplace.
  • Communicate the value and impact of improvements to the Experimentation Platform up to the executive level
  • Promote a strong experimentation and data-driven culture across Lyft, contributing to training, documentation, and best-practices.

 Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management.
  • Past experience in data science
  • Enjoy working on deeply technical products with significant scale expectations and a passionate engineering team.
  • Have used or developed other experimentation systems previously, ran experiments at scale, or developed modern distributed systems software. 
  • Passion for the Lyft vision of transforming transportation.
