We are looking for a Talent Brand Specialist to join our Talent Operations and Programs team to help authentically showcase what it feels like to work at Lyft by bringing our mission, values and culture to life through storytelling. You’ll be the voice of Lyft as it relates to attracting prospective talent across the various touch points where we interact with them. You’ll work with a number of teams within Talent & Inclusion to understand their key recruitment challenges, and develop content that aligns their talent attraction needs - plus, partner with other cross functional partners like marketing and internal communications. This role reports to the Talent Brand Manager. 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing our presence on LinkedIn and our Life at Lyft Instagram handle - including owning the editorial calendar, leading content and copy creation and reporting on post performance
  • Capturing content for both timely and evergreen campaigns on social media
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to source stories about our employees and determining the best mediums to bring them to life
  • Partnering with the Lyft social media team on cross channel campaigns
  • Collaborating with the sourcing and I&D teams to identify key recruiting areas and aligning content development opportunities accordingly
  • Creating messaging templates for nurturing prospects over time and for pre- and post recruiting conferences/events
  • Developing and launching a process for sourcing content from Lyft team members on an ongoing basis to help populate social media channels 
  • Creating content for distribution by recruiting teams to share with prospects and their networks
  • Managing our presence on platforms like Glassdoor and Indeed, including responding to reviews and reporting out on trends

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media platforms, a blog or other digital marketing channels OR exceptional natural ability when it comes to social media from personal usage
  • Passion for storytelling and creating content
  • Exceptional writing skills, both for short form and long form content
  • Outstanding follow through, self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong planning, time management, organization, and decision making skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other team members and stakeholders 
  • Ability to successfully deliver on deadlines and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment
  • Previous employer brand or recruitment marketing experience a huge plus
