Role: Intern, Executive Analytics & Tools

This internship is a full time hybrid role and is not eligible for remote work. 

This is a unique internship opportunity for a recent college graduate to directly support the HelloFresh executive leadership team. Reporting to the NYC-based leadership, you will be tasked with rapidly developing tools, dashboards, and reports that provide critical insights and streamline decision-making. The ideal candidate lives and breathes code, thrives on intuitive development, and has a knack for translating high-level needs into functional, elegant solutions.

You will...

• Collaborate directly with the Chief of Staff to understand the analytical needs and reporting requirements of the Executive Office. 
• Apply business judgment to rapidly design and prototype intuitive tools that bring executive ideas to life.
• Develop, and iterate on, user-friendly dashboards and data visualizations that make complex data easily understandable.
• Work with ambiguous requirements, demonstrating a strong ability to build, test, and refine tools based on direct feedback from our leadership team.
• Manage the full mini-lifecycle of your projects, from initial concept to a polished final product.
• Ensure the "vibe" and user experience of your tools are top-notch, providing a seamless and insightful experience for our leaders.

At a minimum, you have...

• Recently completed or are in your final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a similar technical field.
• Demonstrable experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• A portfolio or examples of projects (academic, personal, or professional) that showcase your ability to build functional applications or tools.
• A fundamental understanding of front-end or data visualization libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Tableau, Power BI).
• The ability to vibe code—that is, to work intuitively and rapidly, translating a feeling or a high-level goal into a functional prototype with minimal formal specification.
