BAYADA Hospice is looking for Volunteers in Delaware County!

This is an unpaid position.

BAYADA Hospice of Media, PA is looking for volunteers to join our team!

BAYADA Hospice has a special purpose - to help people with advanced illness and at end-of-life have comfort, grace, and dignity. We believe families deserve hospice care delivered with compassion, excellence and reliability - our core values. Our caring and professional team members at Bayada Hospice are passionate about providing quality hospice services that can make a difference in patients' and caregivers' lives. We serve the counties of Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Making tuck-in calls to our families
  • Helping with bereavement follow-up
  • Office administration tasks such as putting together informational packets or supplies for patients

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
  • Have a criminal background check completed, as per state requirements.
  • Meet all state requirements for volunteers, where applicable.
  • Meet the BAYADA requirements and state regulations for the discipline, if providing professional services.
