The Development Assistant serves as a critical support role within the DNC's Development team, reporting directly to the Development Manager. This position assists in cultivating and maintaining relationships with our Leadership Circle donors ($1,000+/year), managing donor contact and giving records, and supporting fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about helping the DNC meet its fundraising goals through effective donor engagement and relationship-building.

The starting salary for the Development Assistant position is $52,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
