🌟 Your Impact at Lila

Lila is looking for a skilled High Throughput Assay Development and Automation Scientist to join our dynamic R&D team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in assay development utilizing automated systems, contributing to the acceleration of our discovery pipeline through the optimizing and implementation of high-throughput screening assays. Familiarity with AI-guided protein design is a plus.

🛠️ What You'll Be Building

• Develop and optimize robust biochemical and cell-based assays suitable for high-throughput screening.
• Validate assay performance metrics such as sensitivity, specificity, reproducibility, and robustness.
• Develop and troubleshoot automated protocols to ensure efficient workflow integration.
• Collaborate with automation engineers, implement assays on automated platforms using liquid handling robots and other laboratory automation equipment.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate AI-guided protocol optimization into the molecular validation process.

🧰 What You’ll Need to Succeed

• BS/ MS in Biology, Biotechnology or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in development HTS cell-based assay development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment

✨ Bonus Points For

• Experience with Python programming is a plus.
