The Team
Technical Account Management is a global team that partners with Okta’s Customer Success team and collaborates with Okta’s customers to share knowledge, best practices and make recommendations to continuously innovate around identity and security. We are Okta product experts, and we enable Okta's worldwide growth by educating existing customers and ensuring they are happy and successful. We share our technical and product expertise with customers through presentations, demonstrations, technical evaluations, and ongoing recommendations on Okta and industry best practices.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Content Associate to support the developing, managing, and optimizing internal and customer-facing technical content for the Technical Account Management (TAM) team. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, TAMs, and other cross-functional teams to create high-quality resources that enhance customer engagement and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine technical content, including playbooks, best practices, FAQs and customer guides tailored for the TAM team.
- Develop a plan for version control to maintain and keep content up to date.
- Work closely with TAMs to understand customer needs and create content that improves their experience.
- Support the creation and maintenance of presentations, case studies, and technical one-pagers.
- Assist with content creation and program management of customer-facing one to many programs, including quarterly webinars.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to align content with company goals and initiatives.
- Gather and analyze feedback on content effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in content creation, technical writing, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Experience creating customer-facing content, preferably in a technical or SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems, knowledge bases, or collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Google Docs, Highspot).
- Basic knowledge of SaaS and technical account management workflows is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
